Marta is a senior associate in the real estate practice in the Madrid office.

She advises leading Spanish and international clients on a wide range of complex real estate transactions, development, real estate finance and urban planning matters. Her experience includes acquisitions and sales, refinancing, real estate development, negotiation of leases and construction contracts and issues related to the horizontal property of different real estate assets.

Her experience has been recognised in EMEA Legal 500 for real estate in 2021.

Background

She has a degree in Law by Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain) and the Hanzehogeschool (The Netherlands), and a master's degree for the admission to the bar by Universidad Villanueva (Spain) and Berkeley College (New York, USA). She speaks Spanish and English. She is a member of the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid (ICAM – Madrid Bar Association).

Prior to joining the firm, she worked for other international law firms in Madrid.

  • P3 Logistics on the forward funding acquisition on a logistic warehouse located in the Basque Country
  • one of the largest real estate investment companies worlwide on the acquisition of a land plot located in Santa Perpetua de Mogoda (Barcelona) from ESAI, for the subsequent development of a logistic warehouse. The acquisition of this site is requiring a high degree of planning and zoning analysis, as many actions vis-à-vis the Administration are required as a condition for the granting of the construction licence authorizing the construction of the warehouse
  • an international wholesale supplier on the acquisition of an urban plot of land in Torija (Guadalajara, España) for the development of a cross-dock distribution facility (depot), together with a petrol-station
  • P3 Logistic Parks on the acquisition of a land plot of circa 180,000 sq.m. located in the municipality of Reus (Tarragona) for the development of a superlative logistic warehouse
