Henry is a senior associate in the Corporate Real Estate team.

Henry advises clients on a variety of corporate real estate and private equity real estate transactions, including indirect corporate acquisitions and disposals, minority/majority structured investments and the establishment of joint ventures for real estate projects using a variety of UK and offshore structures. Henry recently completed an 8-month secondment with Lendlease, focusing on funds management and investment in the UK and Italy. 

Henry sits within the wider Real Estate team and combines corporate expertise with real estate sector experience (across sectors including retail, PRS, office and logistics). Henry has advised clients on a number of complex corporate real estate transactions in the UK market, as well as cross-border transactions.

Selected matters

  • Goldman Sachs and Greycoat on the corporate acquisition 20 Finsbury Dials, a 6-storey, ca. 140,000 square feet office building in the City of London. The acquisition is to be allow for a comprehensive ‘brown to green’ refurbishment of the office space
  • Listed alternative investment company on its establishment of a Luxembourg incorporated joint venture to acquire a portfolio of 16 hotels in Europe
  • Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) on the acquisition and establishment of subsequent office development joint venture with Lendlease in respect of the International Quarter at Stratford
  • Cain International acquisition of a 50% stake in an office development in Munich and the establishment of the related joint venture
  • Ballymore in respect of majority stake joint venture with Transport for London to regenerate Edgware Town Centre, with an estimated gross development value of c. £1.7bn
  • Nuveen on the debt financed acquisition of portfolio of central London assets held by multiple individual and trust sellers, together with the subsequent hive up of the underlying assets by way of solvent liquidation
  • GLP on the corporate acquisition of c. 1m sq. ft. of pre-development logistics assets in the UK, structured as a multi-phase forward purchase
