Groupe SEB a ainsi réalisé une levée de fonds exceptionnelle de 650 millions d'euros, largement sursouscrite par rapport à ses objectifs initiaux.
Alors que depuis le début de l'année ce marché était fermé aux entreprises françaises à la suite des difficultés rencontrées par Orpea, Groupe SEB a réussi à attirer 37 investisseurs, y compris des banques françaises, allemandes et asiatiques, en s'appuyant sur un syndicat bancaire composé de BNP Paribas, Citi, Commerzbank, HSBC et de Société Générale.
Le placement se répartit sur quatre maturités différentes, avec une concentration sur les échéances de 5, 7 et 10 ans. Cette nouvelle structuration offre à Groupe SEB une plus grande flexibilité dans la gestion de sa dette, essentielle dans le contexte actuel de taux d'intérêt fluctuants.
