Michael Van Breda

Michael is the Senior Manager in Digital Legal Delivery's Corporate Johannesburg team and is focused on understanding the science of how best to get people, processes and technology to work seamlessly together, to deliver novel legal solutions for his clients. 

Michael holds extensive experience in project managing large scale transactional and regulatory reviews. He has recently acted for a number of UK–based blue chip companies in the media and financial services industries, as well for Africa-focused financial institutions.

Michael has a corporate and commercial law foundation, having trained at Webber Wentzel. He went on to join and contribute to two of South Africa’s market leading alternative legal service providers, servicing clients in the UK and southern Africa, before joining the Digital Legal Delivery Corporate Johannesburg team in 2020.

Background

Michael holds dual bachelor degrees in accounting and law from the University of Stellenbosch and is busy with his CFA Charter.
