Maura is a professional support consultant in the firm's commercial litigation practice. 

Maura provides technical advice to clients and colleagues on issues of substantive law and all aspects of court procedure. A general commercial litigator by background, her particular areas of interest include privilege, costs and funding issues, class actions, contract law and conflict of laws.

Maura is an editor of the firm's 'Litigation notes' blog and also edits the firm's online privilege materials and its contract disputes practical guides series. She has been a member of a number of Civil Justice Council working groups, including in relation to damages-based agreements and concurrent expert evidence, and of the implementation sub-committee of the witness evidence working group, and was also part of the working group that prepared the 2022 revised edition of the Chancery Guide.

Maura is one of the general editors and co-authors of Class Actions in England and Wales (2nd edn, Sweet & Maxwell, 2022), an editor of the 'White Book' (Civil Procedure, Sweet & Maxwell) in relation to conflicts of laws, and an editor of Dicey, Morris and Collins, The Conflict of Laws (16th edn, Sweet & Maxwell, 2022). Maura also sits on the Lord Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Private International Law and chairs the Law Society's working group on Private International Law.
