Isabella Kelly

Isabella is a senior associate in the firm’s ESG, Sustainability and Responsible Business practice.  She has worked with large corporates and financial institutions on a broad range of sustainability-related laws, policies and other initiatives across Australia, the United Kingdom and the European Union. 

Isabella’s experience includes advising clients on:
 

• ESG disclosure, including under the TCFD framework, the EU’s Sustainable Finance Regulation and Taxonomy Regulation, and international initiatives such as the ISSB draft standards and the TNFD’s prototype disclosure framework
• ESG classification frameworks, including the EU Taxonomy and a broad range of sustainable finance taxonomies across Asia
• climate change and directors’ duties, including in relation to the impact of TCFD and broader climate-related disclosure requirements, forward-looking statements, safe harbours, business judgment rules and greenwashing risk
• human rights and broader ESG due diligence in value chains, including drafting business partner due diligence policies, supplier codes of conduct and contractual protections
