Yida is a corporate lawyer in the energy sector.

Yida advises on a wide range of international energy projects and M&A in the energy industry, including concession agreements, joint ventures, project development, commercial agreements for commodities trading, and services agreements.  His experience of China business is highly valued by international clients investing in the country.

He has advised extensively on project documents and long-term supply contracts for LNG, construction, power and renewables projects.

Background

Yida graduated with a bachelor's degree in law from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a master's degree in law from the University of Oxford.

He is qualified to practice law in Hong Kong and England and Wales, with a Certificate of Legal Professional Qualification in China. Yida is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English, Japanese and French.
