Susanna Kipping
Susanna is Head of Legal Operations, Process and Automation in our legal operations team, and is based in our Sydney office.
Susanna leads a team of transformation specialists in the areas of legal design, legal technology and business advisory in the Asia Pacific region and is responsible for the successful delivery of the strategic program of work to help the firm take advantage of the opportunities created by technology and digitalisation. Working with legal groups and clients, Susanna provides guidance and support through the often complex process to transform legal service delivery, drawing upon the people, process, technology and data ‘levers’.
Recent experience at HSF includes developing the firm’s legal automation strategy, including building out in house centre of excellence, which coupled with the use of process design methodologies, supports new ways of working and value creation.
With over two decades experience, Susanna is a Business Services professional with an extensive range of both operational and strategic expertise. Prior to joining the Legal Operations & Transformation team, Susanna led the Business Services continuous improvement program at Herbert Smith Freehills, supporting the organisation in reviewing its systems, processes and culture to deliver efficient and effective service to our clients.
