Soeren is an associate in our corporate practice in our Düsseldorf office and advises national and international companies as well as financial investors in all aspects of corporate and commercial law disputes and corporate compliance as well as in relation to complex cross-border corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings.

Background

Soeren studied law at the University of Cologne and the Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona and holds a master's degree from New York University. Soeren was admitted to the German bar in 2017 and joined Herbert Smith Freehills in their disputes team the same year. In 2022/2023, Soeren worked for an international software corporation in Sydney, Australia and rejoined Herbert Smith Freehills in their corporate team in Düsseldorf in August 2023.

He is fluent in both German and English.
