Sarah Penfold


Sarah is a commercial litigator with a focus upon financial disputes.



Sarah acts for financial institutions in High Court litigation proceedings and is currently acting on one of the largest financial cases progressing through the English Courts. 

Sarah's experience includes advising Lloyds Banking Group and its former directors on a shareholder action (under a group litigation order) arising from the acquisition of HBOS in 2008. 


Sarah holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Bristol. Sarah trained with Herbert Smith Freehills in London and qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2015.
