Samara Cassar


Samara is a disputes lawyer. 



Samara has worked on a number of high-profile claims in the Federal Court, Supreme Court of Queensland, and Fair Work Commission, acting for both corporates and government bodies.

Samara assists clients in a number of sectors and has experience in civil litigation, corporate crime and corruption and insurance. She has a particular interest in international arbitration.

Samara is closely involved in the office’s community, reconciliation and pro bono work.  Samara coordinates the community partnership with RAILS and assists with RACS. Both organisations provide free advice to immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers. She also co-ordinates the Student Mentoring Program and has organised the donation of decommissioned technical equipment to local community organisations. Further, Samara was recognised for her contribution to a consistently excellent client and stakeholder experience as a Secondee with the Public Interest Advocacy Centre.


Samara holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland in Australia.

Samara was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia in 2021.
