Rebecca is an Associate in our Technology, Media and Entertainment, Telecommunications, and Data team.



Rebecca is a commercial and transactional lawyer who advises on a variety of technology, media and entertainment, and telecommunications matters. She also has experience with data protection and privacy matters ranging from compliance, drafting privacy policies and transactional due diligence.  She acts for clients across a broad range of sectors including, in particular, retail/consumer goods, TMT, insurance, financial services, and the automotive industry.

Her experience includes advising:

  • a major consumer goods company on its contractual arrangements for clinical trials, (including drafting master services agreements, project orders and clinical study agreements in relation to the same) taking into account the regulatory landscape in relation to such trials and in particular addressing issues relating to the chain of liability as between the operator of the clinical trial program and the institutions and investigators actually carrying out the clinical trials
  • a development company of a smart city project on a number of complex platform, system and infrastructure development, integration and services agreements across all sectors in the city planning and development phases, including energy, water, mobility, entertainment & culture, food, manufacturing, media, tourism, sport, design & construction, health, wellbeing & biotech, education and technology & digital
  • a major UK government department on the re-procurement of its end user computing devices and related technology support services, including end user support, device management and local infrastructure management
  • bp pulse on its partnership with an EV digital platform provider to streamline and improve the installation of domestic EV charging points, as well as the digital journey and communications with customers for this process
  • Digital Pound Foundation, the consortium of leading companies in the technology and technology digital platform and digital assets space with the "d-GBP Initiative", which is a project focusing on the development and implementation of a digital pound (d-GBP); d-GBP being the UK's version of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) backed by the Bank of England


Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class) from The University of Sheffield and a Master of Laws incorporating the Legal Practice Course (Distinction) from BPP University (Leeds). Rebecca was awarded the Career Guarantee Scholarship and The Cohen Award for Academic Excellence (BPP Law School, 2019).
