Rachel is a Manager in the Alternative Legal Services Disputes practice in Australia.

Rachel is responsible for leading and supervising teams of legal analysts and solicitors to deliver high quality legal review services for high-volume and document-intensive legal work. This includes work in large scale litigation (including class actions), arbitration, internal and external investigations and contentious regulatory matters.

Rachel is committed to leveraging technology and the unique skills and expertise of her ALT team members to produce efficient, high quality and cost-effective outcomes for clients.

Before joining Herbert Smith Freehills in 2021, Rachel was a Senior Associate specialising in dispute resolution where she gained extensive experience across a variety of legal areas including contracts, corporations, insolvency, intellectual property and competition and consumer protection. Rachel was also formerly an Associate to the Honourable Justice Gordon in the Federal Court of Australia (now a Justice of the High Court of Australia).

Background

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (Hons) and Bachelor of Science degree from Monash University.

Rachel is admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
