Nicolás specialises in dispute resolution and international arbitration. He has supported clients in relation to arbitrations under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). He also has experience supporting clients in relation to public international law, investment treaty arbitration, and internal and external investigations.
Nicolás trained in both our London and Tokyo offices, and is currently based in Tokyo.
Nicolás’s recent experience includes:
- a Korean contractor in SIAC arbitration proceedings seated in Singapore, on a dispute concerning issues arising out of a power plant in India
- an Asian pharmaceutical company in ICC arbitration in relation to claims arising out of a distribution agreement
Nicolás holds a Bachelor of Laws in Politics, Philosophy and Law from King’s College London. He was admitted to practice in England and Wales in 2021.
He advises in English, Spanish and Italian, with backgrounds in Japanese, Arabic and Hebrew.
