May Chua

May is a corporate solicitor in the Alternative Legal Services' Corporate practice in Australia. She collaborates closely with her team and clients to review various commercial contracts and leases in large scale due diligence and redaction matters.

She also supports on commercial contracting “business as usual” mandates, working with clients to assist in drafting and reviewing high volume and routine commercial agreements while utilising legal technology to drive efficiencies and deliver cost competitive solutions on otherwise manual and time consuming tasks.

May undertook a four month placement with the Herbert Smith Freehills Finance practice group, where she provided transactional support in relation to corporate financing matters.

Background

May holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (Hons) from University of Tasmania and is admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria.

May is fluent in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
