Marta is a junior associate in the public law and regulatory practice in the Madrid office.

She advises lenders, developers, large companies, investment banks, private equity firms and government entities on public law, regulatory, environmental and governance advice with a focus on the energy and infrastructure.

Background

She has a degree in Law by Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain) and a dual master's degree for Admission to the Bar and International law by ISDE Law Business School (Spain). She speaks Spanish and English. She is a member of the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid (ICAM – Madrid Bar Association).

  • Finerge on the potential acquisition of three wind farms under development in Navarra (Spain). From a regulatory perspective we had to assess the different development paths of the wind farms (including the potential merger of the projects into a single project), and how it could impact the fulfillment of the regulatory milestones and the potential execution of the grid access bonds
  • Asterion Industrial Partners on the regulatory analysis related to the potential acquisition of a leading Spanish provider of medical transport services, as well as the permits required for the exercise of this activity. In addition, we carried out a detailed analysis of the public contracts and standard clauses
  • Finerge on the acquisition of three greenfield wind projects located in Navarra, with a total installed power capacity of 63MW, from Alfanar Group
