Mark is a member of the firm's disputes practice, based in Singapore. He specialises in complex cross-border disputes and international arbitration. Mark has advised governments and commercial entities on issues in the energy, power, infrastructure, commodities, construction, engineering, financial regulation, and hospitality sectors. 

Mark has appeared before the Singapore courts and in international arbitration proceedings, as well as advised on institutional and ad hoc mediations. 

Background

Mark graduated from New York University with a Master of Laws, and the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws. He is qualified as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.

  • a major South American pulp producer in derivative actions and injunctive proceedings before the Singapore High Court, with jurisdictional challenges referred to the Singapore Court of Appeal  

  • a Cambodian developer in a SIAC arbitration against a Chinese contractor concerning claims under a FIDIC contract for the construction of a mixed-use development in Cambodia.
