Marina is a dual-qualified litigator specialising in class actions and international arbitration.

Marina acts on a variety of high profile and complex commercial disputes, with a particular focus on class actions and international arbitration. She was previously an advocate and solicitor based in Malaysia and is now based in Melbourne. Her current practice focuses on complex commercial disputes and sees her working on matters across Asia, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues in the region and elsewhere.

Background

Marina holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Reading, United Kingdom and a Masters of Science (MSc) in Islamic Finance from INCEIF University, Malaysia.

She was called to the Malaysian bar in 2012 and is admitted to practice in Victoria, Australia. She is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia.

Marina is also the Co-Chair of the Melbourne office’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
