Marco advises and supports clients through employment, industrial relations and safety matters.

Marco’s practice spans all aspects of the employment relationship, including employment litigation, equal opportunity and discrimination, bullying, termination of employment, enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes, workplace investigations and regulatory support. Marco assists clients in a broad range of sectors, including aviation, manufacturing, public transport, government, mining and infrastructure. He provides advice to major Australian and international corporations in order to assist them understand their obligations and translate such duties into a practical, hands-on approach. 

Marco is able to provide advice and assistance in all aspects of the employment relationship, from hiring to firing.

Marco has broad experience in assisting clients in a range of litigious disputes, including unfair dismissals, general protections claims, industrial relations disputes and underpayment class actions. Marco is also valued for his ability to provide targeted and commercial advice to clients on a range of employment related matters, including advising international clients on their obligations under Australian law, and providing strategic advice in relation to cooperating with industry regulators.

In all of his matters, Marco is recognised for his efficiency and ability to meet client needs, as well as strategic management of matters in order to achieve broader commercial objectives and successful outcomes. He is highly regarded for his dedication to detail and commercial acumen, with recent client feedback acknowledging that his breadth of knowledge extends beyond his years of experience. 

 

Background

Marco holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, including a period of study at Oxford University. He is admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Victoria.
