Mercedes is a corporate associate specialised in M&A and private capital in the Madrid office.
She advises investment funds on the structure and implementation of M&A national and cross-border transactions, private equity investments, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and incentive plans to key managers. In addition, she has experience in corporate law, corporate governance, head office advisory and corporate housekeeping.
She has a degree in Law and a diploma in Business administration (E-1) by Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) (Spain) and a master's degree for Admission to the Bar by UNIR (Spain). She speaks Spanish, English and Italian. She is a member of the Ilustre Colegio de la Abogacía de Madrid (ICAM – Madrid Bar Association).
Prior to joining the firm as a junior associate, she completed a 10-month full-time internship as a trainee lawyer in the Madrid office as well as a nine-month internship in another international firm in London.
