Kelly is responsible for supervising teams of legal analysts to deliver high quality legal review services for high-volume and document-intensive legal work. This includes informative-intensive work on litigation, arbitration, internal and external investigations, contentious regulatory and due diligence matters.
Kelly works closely with his colleagues across ALT’s global network who are legal practitioners, legal analysts and eDiscovery specialists to support and enhance outcomes for the firm’s clients.
Kelly has broad property, commercial and dispute resolution experience having practised in multiple jurisdictions, and more recently in Australia. His work has been mainly in contract drafting, reviews and negotiation, always focusing on achieving outstanding outcomes, which are commercial, pragmatic and consistent with the clients’ interests and needs.
Kelly brings in-depth knowledge of the law and a wealth of practical experience to combine with ALT’s cutting edge tools and capabilities in technology, such as machine learning contract analysis, to deliver products and services to clients which are innovative, timely and cost effective.
He is fluent in both spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from University of Wales, Cardiff.
He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
He is also admitted to practice in Malaysia.
