Kara is a disputes lawyer specialising in class actions and major regulatory investigations.

Kara has contributed to a number of significant commercial litigation matters in the State Supreme Courts and the Federal Court of Australia and defended regulatory investigations.  Kara works across a broad range of sectors with a particular focus on major securities and product liability litigation.

Major clients Kara has acted for include Westpac Banking Corporation, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Bayer AG and PricewaterhouseCoopers. 

 

Background

Kara holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and Bachelor of Journalism with Distinction.   Kara was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and is qualified as an Australian legal practitioner in New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
