Joseph Cook

Joseph is experienced in leading and managing large teams of qualified lawyers and experienced legal analysts on high volume and complex document-intensive legal work. This includes large scale litigation, arbitration, internal and external investigations and contentious regulatory matters.

Joseph is particularly focussed on developing solutions for clients that combine the right balance of people, process and technology to deliver highly effective and quality outcomes.

Before joining HSF in 2016, Joseph practised as a lawyer and senior associate in a Disputes team and a Restructuring and Insolvency litigation team. Joseph’s experience involved providing practical and strategic advice to clients across a broad range of industries, particularly for large contentious matters in the Supreme Court of Victoria and Federal Court of Australia. Joseph was also a trusted adviser of financial institutions, corporate advisory firms and accounting firms.

Joseph holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (Hons) and a Bachelor of Economics degree from Victoria University.

Joseph is admitted to practise as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
