Jermaine regularly advises clients in relation to M&A, investment funds, joint ventures and private equity matters across a wide range of industry sectors. His practice covers both regional transactions and the Middle East aspects of wider international transactions.
Jermaine trained in the firm's London office before joining the Dubai Corporate team.
Jermaine's experience inculdes:
- Claris Lifesciences on the UAE aspects of the USD625 million sale of its sterile injectables business to US-based healthcare group, Baxter International, Inc.
- Mitsui & Co, Ltd on the UAE aspects of its acquisition of a 15% interest in the Moatize coal mine and a 50% interest in the Nacala Corridor infrastructure project
- Arqaam Capital on the establishment of Arqaam Islamic Funds (OEIC) Limited, a Shari'ah-compliant fixed income open-ended public (retail) fund incorporated in the DIFC and regulated by the DFSA with intended AuM of USD 300M
Jermaine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (First Class) from the University of Birmingham. He completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at Kaplan Law School and the Legal Practice Course at BPP University.
