Jasper has experience working with clients in South East Asia, having spent six months working in Herbert Smith Freehills’ Singapore Corporate M&A team.

ASX-listed IGO Limited on its proposed A$1.9bn acquisition of 49% of Tianqi Lithium Energy Australia, the majority owner of the Greenbushes Lithium Mine — the world’s largest hard rock lithium mine — and 100% owner-operator of the Kwinana lithium hydroxide processing plant. Jasper also advised IGO on its A$776m capital raising used to partially fund the transaction
Wesfarmers on its A$20bn demerger of Coles Group by way of scheme of arrangement – Jasper was primarily involved in the restructure of flybuys (one of Australia’s leading loyalty programs)
Corporate advisory firm Azure Capital on its internal restructure and subsequent 50% subscription and joint venture partnership with Natixis S.A., a French multinational financial services firm
Various bidders on public takeover bids, including IGO on its proposed A$310m takeover bid for Panoramic Resources and private equity firm Ibaera Capital on its successful takeover bid for Azumah Resources
New Zealand’s Todd Corporation on its highly publicised Australian Takeovers Panel proceedings relating to the proposed delisting of an ASX listed company
Jasper graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2016 with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction), majoring in Corporate Finance and Strategic Management. He was admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and High Court of Australia in 2017.
