James Rae

James has a mix of international offshore and onshore experience, having worked in South Africa, Guernsey and Germany before London. He has also worked inhouse for the largest private equity investor on continental Europe. With a broad background in the private equity industry, James provides deep knowledge of market trends and terms, from different geographical markets and industry perspectives.

James' experience includes advising DACH region venture capital clients and large international investors on investments into venture capital, private equity and infrastructure funds across various jurisdictions. He also advises European, US and UK funds on private equity fund establishment mandates. Other experience includes advising Johannesburg based private equity funds on their investments in various jurisdictions on the African continent.
