Jade works with clients across a range of sectors and geographies, including corporates, financial institutions and high net worth individuals. She advises on a variety of commercial matters before the English courts and elsewhere, including contractual, banking, trust and fraud disputes.
She qualified into the Dispute Resolution team in 2015 and has previously completed secondments to the dispute resolution teams in the firm's Hong Kong office and BNP Paribas.
Jade is also part of the firm's Charities team and regularly advises UK charities on a range of matters, including establishment, governance, and charity legislation. She is a member of The Charity Law Association.
Jade's experience includes advising:
- Single Buoy Moorings Inc on its US$1.3 billion construction all risks insurance claim concerning the Yme platform in the North Sea before the English Commercial Court
- The Royal Bank of Scotland and its former directors in their ongoing defence of a prospectus liability claim by large groups of investors in connection with RBS's £12 billion rights issue in April 2008
- VTB Bank in relation to multi-jurisdiction litigation involving applications for freezing injunctions
- Trustees of a UK charity in relation to pension deficit issues. This involved advising on various charity law matters, including trustees' duties and decision-making; compliance with charities legislation; and interactions with the Charity Commission
