Jack manages Alternative Legal Services’ Corporate and Real Estate practice in Australia.



Jack is a corporate and real estate lawyer responsible for managing matters in Alternative Legal Services' Corporate, Finance, Real Estate and Projects (Corporate and FREP) practice in Australia.

Jack supervises a team of qualified lawyers and legal analysts in Australia, and works closely with his colleagues across the Herbert Smith Freehills global network, to deliver innovative, flexible and cost-competitive client solutions.

Jack is focussed on providing clear commercial solutions to clients by combining legal expertise, process efficiency and legal technology. Jack is also engaged in developing solutions to alleviate cost pressures and resourcing constraints faced by internal legal processes, such as high volume document drafting and reviews.

Before taking up his role with Herbert Smith Freehills in 2018, Jack practised as a Senior Legal Counsel for a national FMCG business and before that worked for a global law firm undertaking commercial and retail shop leasing. Jack has significant experience in property matters, with a particular focus on bulk retail and commercial leasing.


Jack holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and Bachelor of Business degree from Bond University.

Jack is admitted to practise as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
