James is a Senior Manager in the Corporate team of Alternative Legal Services (ALT).
James advises listed and private corporate clients on transactional work, with a focus on delivering large-scale workstreams relating to mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. In recent years, James has focused on ensuring that legal tech is used efficiently to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.
James spent 18 months in our Perth, Australia office in 2016-18 developing ALT's corporate offering, and previously spent 4 months on secondment to Man Group plc in 2013.
James graduated with a BA in Politics with History in 2007, before completing a Masters of Legal Science in 2009, both from Queen's University, Belfast and qualified as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland in 2011.
