Isaac's experience includes advising:

  • China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC), Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, Macquarie and ABCI Securities as joint sponsors, joint bookrunners and joint lead managers on the Hong Kong aspects of the US$22.1 billion listing of A-shares and H-shares of Agricultural Bank of China (ABC)
  • Newborn Town, a leading AI-based mobile app developer and mobile advertising platform services provider, on its global offering and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. CMBC International Capital Limited was the sole sponsor of the listing. CMBC Securities Company Limited, Haitong International Securities Company Limited and SBI China Capital Financial Services Limited were joint global coordinators
  • CICC and Macquarie Capital Securities as joint bookrunners on the US$613 million Hong Kong IPO and Rule 144A/Regulation S global offering of China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock, the largest rolling stock maker in China 
  • BOCI and UBS as joint global coordinators on the Rule 144A /Regulation S global offering and IPO of China National Materials Company on Hong Kong Stock Exchange 
  • China's State Grid Corporation on its latest medium term multi-tranche bond programme, worth US$7.7 billion in total. This was the largest G3 bond in 2017, and the largest bond issue ever by a Chinese SOE
  • Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited (ICBC), the world's largest bank by assets, on a Rule 144A/Regulation S issue of US$2 billion Tier 2 capital notes
  • Beijing Capital Agribusiness and CITIC Agri Fund Management on acquisition of UK company Cherry Valley Farms, the global leader in the duck breeding and gene supply industry
  • Shenhua Group Corporation Limited on its merger with China Guodian Group

 

 

Background

Isaac graduated from Zhejiang University, The University of Hong Kong and Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law and Kellogg School of Management. He is admitted in England and Wales and the State of New York. Isaac is fluent in English and Mandarin, and can speak basic Cantonese.
