Ignacio Jimenez-Poyato

Ignacio Jimenez-Poyato Narvaez


Ignacio joined the firm as an associate in May 2018 and is a member of its Employment, Pensions and Incentives division in the Madrid office.



Ignacio has practiced in the Courts as a lawyer. This experience as a practicing lawyer allows him to face the study of the documentation provided by clients and the drafting of contracts, in order to be defended in the courts. These skills allow him to give a dynamic advice to the clients adapting to the strategic necessities that are required depending on the cases.
Ignacio's experience includes advising:
  • Cobre Las Cruces on all legal aspects of the opening and development of the largest copper mining project in Europe located in Seville (Spain) including the negotiation with the Public Administrations involved, permits, subsidies, expropriations, acquisition of land, power supply, corporate issues and project financing
  • Dynatrace on work permits issues regarding six employees


Law Degree and Political and Administration Science Degree by Universidad San Pablo Ceu. 

Double master's degree about the access to the Legal Profession and business law at the Universidad San Pablo Ceu. 

Master's degree in Compliance at IE.
