Holly is a solicitor in the projects, energy and infrastructure team specialising in environment and planning law.

She advises a broad range of government and private sector clients on major infrastructure and renewable energy projects, environmental and planning litigation, environmental compliance and regulatory issues including in respect of emissions reduction and carbon trading schemes.

Holly is recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a Rising Star in the field of Planning and Environment Law (2022).

  • Advising on approvals strategy, environmental assessment and compliance issues in respect of a wide variety of projects including master planning and major electricity, transport and public utility infrastructure projects
  • Successfully acting for a large investment fund in the Queensland Planning and Environment Court to amend a development approval for a peaking power plant to incorporate a BESS
  • Successfully acting for government and private sector clients in the Queensland Planning and Environment Court, the Queensland Supreme Court and the Queensland Court of Appeal
  • Regulation – Advising on the development and implementation of legislative frameworks and policy including for the facilitation of specific infrastructure projects and master planned areas
  • Advising on environmental, planning, native title and cultural heritage risks and commercial terms in transactions for a wide variety of assets and businesses
  • Providing advice in respect of issues concerning heritage places including in relation to listing applications for the Queensland Heritage Register
