Experience
Harriet completed her training contract with Herbert Smith Freehills LLP and qualified into the real estate team in March 2015. Harriet advises on a wide range of commercial property matters, including development projects, landlord and tenant management work, acquisitions and disposals, real estate finance and corporate real estate matters. Harriet has acted for a range of clients including property companies, institutional investors, banks and Government-owned companies.
Harriet's experience includes advising:
- Aquind in relation to the land aspects of the development of a 2000MW UK - France Interconnector
- a number of banking groups on the financing of multi-let property in London for investment and development financing purposes
- a number of property development companies on redevelopment proposals for large development sites, including residential housing, retail, offices, schools and SANG allocated land
- a German Fund on the acquisition and forward funding of student accommodation sites in the UK
Background
Harriet graduated from University of Exeter in 2010 with a first class honours in History and went on to commence her law conversion course at The University of Law in 2010.
