Geraldine is a Solicitor in the Tax Advisory practice at Herbert Smith Freehills.
Geraldine advises on general corporate taxation matters in the context of mergers and acquisitions and funds. Geraldine also has experience in tax controversy matters, including assisting clients under review and investigation by the ATO. Geraldine’s advisory expertise includes tax due diligence on the acquisition of investments, advising on tax issues arising from employee equity schemes and advising on corporate transactions and restructures across a range of sectors.
Geraldine graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) (conferred with Distinction). Geraldine is currently completing a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Melbourne.
