Erwann, who is qualified to advise on French and English law, works within our projects and infrastructure team in Paris.
He has experience in helping clients with their projects and transactions in the energy (upstream oil & gas and power) and infrastructure sectors, focussing in particular on matters in Francophone Africa.
He advises and negotiates in both French and English.
Erwann's experience includes advising:
- EDF, International Finance Corporation and Government of Cameroon on the development of the Nachtigal Hydroelectric Project (420MW) in Cameroon
- Perenco, Woodside, and other international oil and gas companies on various matters arising from their ongoing operations or proposed transactions in Francophone Africa
- CMOC on the acquisition of Freeport's indirect 56% interest in the world-class Tenke Fungurume copper-cobalt mine in DRC for US$2.65 billion
Erwann is a member of the Paris bar and is admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales.
He holds a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP University Law School in London (2009-2011), a Master degree in Business Law and Tax from the University of Paris I / HEC Business School (2005-2006), an LLM in International Business Law from Exeter University (2004-2005) and a Master degree in Private Law from the University of Rennes I, Law Faculty (2000-2004).
