Elizabeth is a New York qualified Consultant in the firm's corporate practice with a focus on capital markets. 



Elizabeth's experience at Herbert Smith Freehills includes assisting on various international debt and equity offerings, advising investment banking clients, corporate issuers and investment funds primarily on matters related to US federal securities laws.

Elizabeth's experience includes advising: 

  • Citibank and a banking syndicate on the US$750 million draw-down bond offering by Turkish bank QNB Finans Bank under its US$2 billion GTMN programme
  • Numis Securities and a banking syndicate on Kuwait Energy's proposed London IPO
  • United Bank for Africa on its debut US dollar Rule 144A/Regulation S bond issuance
  • the target company on a proposed reverse takeover of a London-listed oil and gas company


Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills in October 2016, Elizabeth has had experience in public defence and in teaching, and studied at Truman State University (USA), Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic) and Harvard Law School (USA).
