Dinh collaborates with other practice groups to provide clients an integrated and full service delivery so that risks are managed and mitigated and the client’s commercial objectives are achieved through each stage of the project, from site acquisition, securing funding, securing tenancies, pass through of risks downstream and on-sale to the investor. She has advised on and helped clients to navigate through landlord and tenant disputes to avoid the need for litigation where possible. Dinh has also led on property due diligences for property acquisitions, business sales, major corporate transactions and privatisation of government assets.
Dinh has been the ‘go to’ person for many of her clients on their property-related issues. Clients recognise her for her technical excellence, extremely quick turnarounds and her measured approach in dealing with difficult counterparties and ‘working miracles’ to reach solutions to problems.
Dinh’s experience includes advising:
- Lendlease on its development of the first commercial office tower at the A$2.5 billion Melbourne Quarter urban regeneration project in Docklands
- Ouson Group on its A$267.5 million acquisition of Towers 2, 3 and 4 of the World Trade Centre in Docklands
- Mirvac on securing pre-commitments from its anchor tenant, Deloitte for the Olderfleet building at 477 Collins Street and Exxon Mobil at 664 Collins Street
- Adelaide Brighton on its acquisition of a concrete and quarry business across 6 sites.
Dinh holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts. Dinh has practised as a solicitor in multiple jurisdictions, including Victoria, New South Wales and England and completed a 7 month secondment in Vietnam.
