Deanna Carlon


Deanna advises leading employers on industrial relations issues and general employment matters.



Deanna has broad experience across a range of sectors, with significant focus and experience advising employers in the resources (oil and gas), and telecommunications sectors.

Deanna is adept at grasping the complex workings and needs of individual businesses having worked on secondment and in-house with some of Australia’s largest employers.

Deanna’s experience includes:

  • advising on protected and unprotected industrial action
  • enterprise bargaining
  • responding to general protections and unfair dismissal claims
  • conducting workplace investigations
  • providing advice on employment rights and conditions under enterprise agreements, modern awards, contracts of employment, the Fair Work Act and other legislation



Deanna holds a Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of International Relations from The University of Melbourne.
