Christoph is an associate in the Competition, Regulation & Trade practice and dispute resolution practice in our Düsseldorf office.

Christoph advises companies in all areas of German and EU competition law as well as in complex litigation and arbitration. He specialises in litigation related to competition law, in particular follow-on cartel damages proceedings.

Background

Christoph studied law at the University of Bayreuth and the University of Birmingham, UK and completed an additional university training in economics. He holds a PhD of the Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf in the field of cartel damages proceedings and worked in the dispute resolution/IP practice of a renowned international law firm while writing his doctoral thesis. During his legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, he gained further experience in the fields of competition law and dispute resolution at Herbert Smith Freehills and at a globally leading American law firm.
