Cameron is a Manager in Alternative Legal Services’ Disputes practice in Australia.

Cameron is responsible for leading and supervising solicitors and legal analysts to deliver high quality legal review services for document-intensive legal work. This includes information intensive work on litigation, arbitration, internal and external investigations and contentious regulatory matters.

Cameron has a particular interest in alternative dispute resolution processes and harnessing legal technology to develop innovative strategies and workflows that assist clients to meet their commercial objectives.

Before taking up his role with HSF in 2018, Cameron practised as a lawyer overseas specialising in class action litigation, including insurance litigation arising out of the Christchurch earthquake sequence of 2011. In addition to this, Cameron provided strategic employment and Health and Safety advice to large corporates across some of New Zealand’s highest risk industries including forestry, construction and manufacturing.

Background

Cameron holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Canterbury.

Cameron is admitted to practice as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, and as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.  

Cameron is an associate member of CIARB, the Australia New Zealand Sports Law Association and the New Zealand Insurance Law Association.
