Christopher is an Associate in the dispute resolution team in London, with a focus on product liability and health and safety.

Christopher advises clients in civil and regulatory disputes arising from allegedly defective or unsafe products. He also provides advice on regulatory compliance, often in scenarios where regulatory frameworks are still developing, and has experience defending high-profile consumer class actions. He also assists clients following serious health and safety issues and advises on clients' health and safety obligations and liabilities within the statutory framework in which they operate.

Christopher also advises on a range of insurance coverage disputes, in particular assisting policyholders across a range of sectors in relation to contentious policy claims.

Background

Christopher holds a first-class degree in Geography from Exeter University. He joined Herbert Smith Freehills as a trainee in 2021 and has spent time on secondment at British American Tobacco.
