Catherine is an associate in the London real estate team and specialises in construction law.
Catherine has experience acting for developers, employers, contractors, and consultants on a variety of commercial, residential and mixed-use construction projects. Catherine advises on procurement strategies and drafts and negotiates key construction contracts. This includes building contracts, professional consultant appointments, collateral warranties and related documents.
Catherine qualified as a solicitor in 2021. Prior to joining HSF, she trained and worked at the largest specialist construction and energy law firm in the UK. Here, Catherine gained experience in construction litigation, international arbitration, adjudication, and non-contentious construction.

- acting for British Land in relation to its 53-acre redevelopment at Canada Water in the London Borough of Southwark
- drafting and negotiating the construction contracts for the £40m fit-out of an international banking and asset management group's UK headquarters
- advising and reporting on the construction aspects of real estate acquisitions, financings and sales, such as the £563m sale of a 190-acre business park for a global real estate investment, development and management company, and the £250m sale of 13 development sites for a British multinational groceries and general merchandise retailer
