Brigitte assists public and private sector clients in relation to a range of environmental and planning issues. She has worked on a number of litigious matters in the Supreme Court and Land and Environment Court of New South Wales. Brigitte has also advised on non-litigious matters including development control orders, voluntary planning agreements and development approvals more generally. She also regularly assists in providing strategic planning advice in relation to renewables and major infrastructure projects.
Brigitte’s recent experience includes:
- providing strategic advice on a proposed collective sale under the Strata Schemes Development Act 2015 (NSW)
- advising on approvals and civil enforcement actions under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth)
- assisting with compulsory acquisition proceedings in connection with the Randwick Campus Redevelopment and The Northern Road expansion
Brigitte is an active member of the New South Wales Young Lawyers Environment and Planning Committee and is a volunteer solicitor with the Shopfront Youth Legal Centre.
Brigitte holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
