Belinda advises energy and resources companies on all aspects of their activities in Australia, including infrastructure development, complex project structuring and development, acquisitions and divestments, as well as operational and offtake arrangements.
Belinda works with clients on all aspects of a project’s value chain, from project structuring to downstream marketing. She specialises in advising international corporations on their investment activities in Australia and is an expert on Australia’s foreign investment review regulations.
Belinda has a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne. She is also fluent in Chinese.
Belinda’s experience includes advising:
- Jemena on its successful bid to construct and operate the Northern Gas Pipeline linking the Northern Territory to Australia’s Eastern Gas Market
- Santos on sale of interests in a Victorian gas project and the associated processing facilities
- China Steel Corporation, Marubeni, POSCO, STX on the development of the Roy Hill Iron Ore Project in which these companies hold a 30% interest
- Alinta on its gas supply and infrastructure arrangements in Victoria and New South Wales.
