Arushie is an associate specialising in investment treaty arbitration, international commercial arbitrations, as well as issues of public international law.

Arushie specialises in dispute resolution, with a focus on investment treaty arbitration, international commercial arbitration and public international law, and is based in London. 

She has experience handling both investment treaty arbitration proceedings and international commercial arbitrations involving an array of complex procedural, jurisdictional and substantive issues. She has worked on arbitrations across various industry sectors such as renewables, oil and gas, telecommunications, healthcare, mining, and construction sector in arbitrations under the LCIA, SIAC, SCC, ICC and ICSID Rules, as well as in arbitration-related proceedings before the English High Court.

Arushie is qualified to practice law in India and regularly advises a wide variety of Indian clients, in addition to supporting clients more generally on issues of public international law, including the application of treaties and conventions and business and human rights issues. 

She is also a key member of the firm's pro bono practice and was most recently nominated for the Law Society of England’s LawWorks Pro Bono Awards in the category of “Best Contribution by a Junior Lawyer”.

Background

Arushie holds a dual degree in law and business administration from the National Law University, Jodhpur in India, where she graduated with several gold medals, including the All-Round Best Student in her year. She is also qualified to practice law in India.

Arushie is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.
