Antonio is a Professor of Public International Law and European Union Law. Antonio specialises in foreign investment arbitration and the settlement of international disputes. He has extensive experience advising states, international organisations and companies on all aspects of public international law. He was part of the legal team in charge of drafting Spain's Law of Treaties as well as the Law on privileges and inmmunities of States and international Organizations.
Antonio has collaborated as an expert in several Spanish law firms on international procedures.
Antonio’s indexed publications in journals and in reknowned academic publishers include a variety of public international law subject areas. Upcoming is the title International Maritime Delimitation. Insular Formations and low-tide elevations, Tirant Lo Blanch.
Previously he worked as an international legal adviser to the Spain's Ministry for Foreign Affairs. He provided legal and strategic advice to Spain in the following areas:
