Based in London, Anna is the partner responsible for litigation and leads the central litigation professional support lawyer team.
Anna lectures and writes regularly on civil procedure rules, privilege and jurisdiction issues an a range of litigation topics and processes. She is an editor of the firm’s ‘Litigation notes’ blog (www.hsfnotes.com/litigation) and litigation e-bulletin. She is a member of Practical Law's editorial committee and College of Law media's expert panel for dispute resolution. Anna also contributes to Blackstone’s Civil Practice publication.
Anna has acted on behalf of clients in matters including:
- a successful challenge to English jurisdiction in Chellaram v Chellaram (No2) [2002] 3 All ER I7
- a shareholder dispute concerning a foreign domestic airline
- a wrongful dismissal action against Jupiter International Group plc (2000)
- a major banking fraud (Jyske Bank [Gibraltar] Ltd v Spjeldnaes & other) (1994–2001)
