Background
Ann-Kathrin studied law at the universities of Göttingen, Münster and Nottingham (UK). During her law clerk Ann-Kathrin was working for well-known law firms in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. Ann-Kathrin has been admitted to the German bar in 2019. Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills in 2022, she worked for a leading American law firm in its corporate and restructuring team. She is a native German speaker and fluent in English.
