Amanda has a range of expertise in environment and planning law matters. Her expertise spans strategic planning and applications for project approvals, as well as compliance and regulatory advice. Amanda also has knowledge of matters relating to land access, acquisition and compensation. She advises on pollution incidents and contaminated land issues and has been involved in conducting due diligences for various projects in the urban renewal, infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.
Amanda's experience includes:
- advice in respect of contaminated land, including remediation and interaction with regulators
- acting for Rail Projects Victoria for the Melbourne Metro project with strategic advice, assessment and approvals advice, and assisting with land acquisition and compensation matters
- advising in respect of environmental approvals, compliance and management
- working in London, UK, on a range of major urban renewal projects, drafting infrastructure agreements and advising on planning applications and approvals.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Laws (hons) and a Bachelor of Science (Environment) from Griffith University. Between 2015-2019, Amanda worked in the United Kingdom on a wide range of planning and environmental matters.
