Alexandra acts for banks, financial institutions and listed companies in a range of contentious and advisory matters, with a particular focus on contentious regulatory matters.
Alexandra's experience includes advising clients on internal investigations, UK and Australian enforcement matters, crisis management, and regulatory compliance, particularly with respect to culture, governance and conduct risk.
Alexandra's recent experience includes advising:
- a major UK bank in relation to an independent inquiry and regulatory issues arising from fraud
- a large retail bank in relation to concurrent regulatory and independent inquiries following a major incident
- various financial institutions in relation to compliance with consumer credit requirements, including FCA enforcement investigations in relation to affordability and forbearance issues
- various international banks in relation to compliance with UK market conduct requirements
Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours from the University of Wollongong, Australia.
She is admitted to practise as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia.
